Flash your Shorts: FYS - November 16th 2009

Heya Flashers!

Welcome back to another exciting week on Flash Your Shorts!

I'd like to apologize for not posting last week, I was out of town and unable to get to a computer to post the new films. On a cool side note, I worked with DB Sweeney (X-Files, Jericho), Gary Graham (Alien Nation, Star Trek: Enterprise), and Doug Jones (Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth, Sockbaby 4) on the first 3 episodes of the new web series UNIVERSAL DEAD from Unconventional Films! The shoot went really well, and you guys will be stoked when you see the show when it's launched. I'll be sure to post a link to the show when it's online for you to watch.

I also wanted to quickly talk about The Mental Electic's Sipping Shorts Social that took place last Thursday in San Diego. There was a nice turnout for the event, and we'd like to thank everyone who showed up. Stay tuned for more short film screenings in San Diego, as well as Los Angeles and other cities worldwide.

Also, I'm looking to acquire a list of festivals to add to the site as a reference in the future. If you have participated in any festivals, and would like to share the link with me, please let me know.
