Welcome back to another awesome week here on Flash Your Shorts!
It's been a pretty crazy week here on the site. Last Friday I met with Craig Wilson and Kathy McCurdy from the San Diego Film Commission to talk about Craig's new short film screening "Sippin' Shorts Social". We talked shop for almost 2 hours and when it was all over, we got the support of the SD Film Commission! This is great news for getting more people to the screenings to watch YOUR films!
Flash Your Shorts is taking an active part in the screening events. We are going to be having our "Flash Your Shorts - Pick of the Month!" each month, and we will showcase a short film from a filmmaker on this site! If you are interested in getting your films screened in front of an audience and getting more exposure, please email me for more information.
To all of you on our mailing list, you will be getting the flyer for Sippin' Shorts Social...if you aren't on our mailing list and want to up to date with all the happenings here on FYS, just email me and I'll put you on there.
Keep in mind that the more exposure that FYS gets, the more people get to see your films, and that is great for everyone involved. I ask that you guys please post a link to FYS everywhere you can! FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, Craigslist...I don't care where you post it, just that you post it somewhere and help spread the word!
